I plan to start the Thrive diet tomorrow.
I decided to go ahead and make the batter for the first meal, Wild Rice Yam Pancakes, this evening. I made twice as much since I had the extra ingredients. It was a disaster in several dimensions: I filled the food processor too full, and it overflowed through a hidden hole all over my table; the overflow was mainly water. I went ahead with the process; it seems like a good choice since the pancake batter didn't seem too thin even with the lost water. I think they would have been too runny with all that water.
Next, I forgot to close another hole in the processor and when I started the processor it started spewing out of the spew hole. It got on me, my table, and my carpet. Luckily I have my Little Girl here and she was kind enough to lick it up.
Also, it was a huge amount of batter. I am stuffed.
Finally, the pancakes would not become firm. Basically I ate hot batter with some agave nectar. Thankfully, since my big toe would taste good drenched in agave nectar, they tasted fine.
I'm still totally committed to trying the thrive diet.

Over a year
It's been a year since my last post. It's funny to me that my last post was about this crazy new health food store, since I've been shopping there almost exclusively for the past year. I weigh about 178 now; I'd like to get on down to 150.
I've been vegan for about a year now. I'm loving it, and I really don't see ever going back.
I'm going to start following the Thrive diet and Turbulence Training Bodyweight Manual for exercise.
More to come!
PS - My dog is doing great.
